In August 2017, Rosemary Gundjarranbuy, Mirrmirryun Beulah Munyarryun (Mimi) and myself flew to Kuching via Singapore to attend an international conference with Wendy Kennedy, Manager of the CDU Adult Literacy and Numeracy team and Lorraine Sushames, the CDU VET, LLN Business Development Manager.
On the 13th to 16th of September James Smith, Allison Stewart, Lawurrpa Maypilama, Rosemary Gundjarranbuy, Simon Fisher, Dean Yibabuk and Elizabeth Katakarinja travelled to Canberra to meet with representatives of the Department of Education and Training.
The third Indigenous Leaders Conference 'Engagement and the Power of Choice' will be held at Charles Darwin University (Casuarina Campus) on the 10-11 Nov. 2016.
