About Peta
Peta Fraser is a proud Bundjalung woman from the Lismore area. Peta grew up and attended High School in Cairns, Qld and started out her career at Adaptive Technology and IT company in Sydney, NSW where she completed Certificate III in Business. Peta then went on to work in Marketing and Events at Eli Lilly in Sydney, NSW. Spending 7 years in Sydney Peta also worked at Parramatta City Council in the Outcomes and Development Department (Strategic Development) where she specialised in change management and strategic outcomes. Peta then moved to Darwin in 2008 and completed training to be a Store Manager with Outback Stores and spent 3 years living and working on communities in mostly the Alice Springs area but also including some Top End communities, some Qld remote communities and one SA community. Peta visited 22 communities in her time with Outback Stores specialising in the implementation of new systems and training of Indigenous Store Staff. Peta then worked for Ironbark Employment and specialised in Indigenous Employment Programs, Project Management and later became the Employment Services Manager.
Peta holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
