Exploring Tennant Creek

​Located approximately 500km north of Alice Springs and 1000km south of Darwin, Tennant Creek is the largest township within the Barkly Regional Council district which is the second largest local government area in Australia, covering an area 42 per cent larger than Victoria.

Exploring Maningrida

​Maningrida is one of the largest Aboriginal towns in the Northern Territory with a population of around 3000, and is situated approximately 500km east of Darwin in Arnhem Land, at the mouth of the Liverpool River.It also services about 30 outstations or homelands in the region.

Exploring Galiwin'ku

​Galiwin’ku is a Yolŋu community located on Galiwin’ku/Elcho Island, approximately 550 km NE of Darwin. It is the largest community on the island, which also has several homelands and outstations, and was established in the 1940s as a Methodist mission.
